No PhD? No problem! EleutherAI was founded by software engineers and AI hobbyists, and to this day the majority of people who participate in our research do not have a PhD. Strong engineering skills, a passion for open source, and familiarity with machine learning are more important attributes for potential collaborators.
In addition to being an open research institute, EleutherAI is a locus for discussion of cutting edge research and engineering that powers large scale artificial intelligence.
